Borussia Dortmund are through to the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League after Erling Haaland’s brace helped them earn a 2-2 draw in the second leg of their round of 16 tie against Sevilla.

Haaland’s two goals either side of half time gave Borussia Dortmund a two goal lead, before Youssef En-Nesyri scored twice to bring Sevilla level on the night in stoppage time. But Sevilla could not find a third goal, and the draw was enough for the Black and Yellows, as it gave them a 5-4 win on aggregate.

While Haaland was undoubtedly the star of the show with his brace, a number of Dortmund players deserve special mentions for the part they played in helping the team get over the line. Jude Bellingham and Marwin Hitz were especially impressive on the night, as BVB qualified for the Champions League quarterfinals for the first time since 2017.

Here are our player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from the game.

Marwin Hitz (7/10)

He did not stand a chance with any of Sevilla the goals, but Hitz delivered a strong performance nonetheless. He looked confident for the entirety of the 90+ minutes and made some vital saves to keep Borussia Dortmund ahead on aggregate.
