Borussia Dortmund face Sevilla in the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie on Tuesday, as they look to qualify for the quarter-finals.

On the back of a disappointing 4-2 loss to Bayern Munich last weekend, Borussia Dortmund will be looking to get back in the win column against Sevilla. Carrying a 3-2 advantage on aggregate, Dortmund are the favourites heading into the second leg. A win, or draw, or even a defeat by one goal (provided Sevilla score less than three times) would see Dortmund qualify for the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time since the 2016-17 season.

Borussia Dortmund’s task has been made slightly harder with the injuries in their camp. Jadon Sancho will miss Tuesday’s game, while Raphael Guerreiro and Gio Reyna are also injury doubts and did not train on Monday, leaving Dortmund a little short handed offensively. Manuel Akanji, Axel Witsel and Marcel Schmelzer will also be absent with their longer term injuries.

Sevilla are in a bad run of form at the moment and will be highly motivated to get a positive result in Dortmund, having only won one of their last five games across all competitions. Coming off a 2-1 loss against Elche at the weekend, Sevilla will also be looking to bounce back in this one.
