Second half goals from Julian Brandt and Youssoufa Moukoko helped Borussia Dortmund earn a 2-0 win at home against Hertha Berlin on Saturday.

Borussia Dortmund dominated the game right from the first whistle, but had to wait until the 54th minute to take the lead. It was Julian Brandt who scored the opener with a fine long-range effort. Hertha goalkeeper Rune Jarstein will feel that he should have saved the shot, but he was beaten by the swerve on the ball.

Youssoufa Moukoko then came off the bench to double Borussia Dortmund’s lead with an excellent strike from a tight angle.

It was a professional display from the Black and Yellows, who played with great composure and made sure that their dominance was rewarded with the three points. Here are our player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from the game.

Marwin Hitz (6/10)

Hitz was able to enjoy a quiet evening and did not have any saves to make. Hertha weren’t able to manage a single shot on target, giving the 33 year old a straight-forward clean sheet.
