Players to Watch

Jude Bellingham is in excellent form heading into the game. His performances in midfield have been crucial to Borussia Dortmund’s recent resurgence, and he will be aiming to keep his impressive run going with another good display against Köln.

Erling Haaland was kept quiet in the reverse fixture and missed a golden chance to equalise at the death. He will be determined to find the net this weekend. With Jadon Sancho ruled out and Marco Reus a doubt, the pressure will be on Haaland to lead the attack for Borussia Dortmund.

Ellyes Skhiri scored a brace when the two sides met in November, and Dortmund will especially have to keep an eye on him during set-pieces. Marius Wolf also caused the Dortmund defence a lot of problems in the reverse fixture. And the BVB loanee will be looking to deliver another strong performance this weekend.
