Gio Reyna (4/10)

Gio Reyna returned to the starting XI, but his rough patch continued as he failed to make an impact on the game. His only half decent contribution was his pass to find Hazard in the first half. The USMNT international’s afternoon was over in the 66th minute, with Reinier coming on to replace him.

Thorgan Hazard (4/10)

Hazard had another sloppy game, and looked far from his best. He seemed to be lacking his usual commitment and determination and missed a decent chance to make it 2-0 after just eight minutes. Other than that, he did not cause any problems to the Köln defence. The Belgian international still looks rusty after his recent injury woes. He is not ready to start games yet.

Erling Haaland (7.5/10)

Haaland was the only Borussia Dortmund player who looked like he was up for the task against Köln. He gave Dortmund the early lead and scored a late equaliser. He also hit the post, was denied by the goalkeeper and set up a decent chance for Moukoko in the second half.
