Dahoud brought more urgency and directness to Borussia Dortmund’s midfield initially after coming on. But his decision making wasn’t always the best. He gave the ball away on the edge of the Eintracht Frankfurt box, which led to the counter attack for the winner.

Knauff showed flashes of his talent after coming on, and caused Eintracht Frankfurt a few problems with his directness. But he also ran out of steam after a while.
