Marco Reus (7/10)

Reus delivered a timely reminder of his quality with an impressive all-round performance against Manchester City. Not only did he score the equaliser, but he also looked sharp every time he went forward. He also performed his defensive duties really well and always looked confident on the ball.

Ansgar Knauff (6/10)

Making his first senior start, Knauff showed a few glimpses of his talent. But he did look nervous at times, and his decision making wasn’t always the best. Still, it was a promising and hard-working display from someone who only had three senior appearances to his name before today.

Erling Haaland (6/10)

Haaland had a very ordinary first half, but got more and more into the game as it went on. He had a golden chance to make it 1-1 early in the second half, but he could not beat Ederson after being played through on goal. He then assisted Marco Reus’ equaliser.
