Borussia Dortmund player ratings vs Stuttgart: Bellingham, Knauff star in stunning comeback win
By Tushar Bahl
Thomas Delaney (6/10)
Delaney made his return to the side and delivered a hard-working performance in the middle of the park. The Denmark international tried to venture forward more often than he usually does in the first half, but it left a big gap in midfield. He got into some really good positions in the final third but lacked the cutting edge to make the most of those situations.
Like the rest of his teammates, Delaney got better as the game went on and made a few vital defensive contributions for his side.
Mahmoud Dahoud (6.5/10)
Dahoud showed glimpses of his quality and forced a good save from Kobel in the first half. He then played a nice pass to Gio Reyna in the build-up to Jude Bellingham’s opener. He also made a vital block to keep out Didavi’s overhead kick in the 71st minute.
Jude Bellingham (7.5/10)
Bellingham showed the most fight and commitment out of all Borussia Dortmund players. And he was finally rewarded in the 47th minute as he scored his first Bundesliga goal. The 17 year old put in another tireless performance up for his side and did not stop running for the 78 minutes he spent on the pitch.
