Emre Can (6.5/10)

Can came on to replace the injured Mats Hummels at half time, and he put in a much better performance than he did on Tuesday. The German international made seven clearances and defended with great confidence. He did make one or two small errors in positioning, but overall, he looked very solid.

Ansgar Knauff (7/10)

Knauff came off the bench and scored the winner for Borussia Dortmund. It was his first professional goal, and a truly sublime one at that. Don’t be surprised if he starts again on Wednesday against Manchester City.

Thorgan Hazard (N/R)

Hazard came on to replace Gio Reyna for the final ten minutes.

Julian Brandt (N/R)

Brandt came on for Jude Bellingham in the 80th minute.
