Team News

Jadon Sancho trained individually on Sunday but the game will come too soon for him. Borussia Dortmund will also be without Youssoufa Moukoko, Dan-Axel Zagadou, Axel Witsel and Marcel Schmelzer. Thomas Delaney is also out with an injury.

Marco Reus and Mats Hummels were forced off early against Stuttgart, and they are both doubts going into the game. Although, they both trained with the team on Tuesday and should be fit to start. Ansgar Knauff could return to the starting XI after scoring the winner against Stuttgart at the weekend.

Manchester City should have the majority of their squad available for selection. Sergio Agüero is the only major absentee in the 22-man squad, while Aymeric Laporte is back after missing the game against Leeds United on Saturday.

Expected Lineups

Borussia Dortmund: Hitz – Morey, Akanji, Hummels, Guerreiro – Can, Bellingham, Dahoud – Reus, Knauff – Haaland

Manchester City: Ederson – Walker, Dias, Stones, Cancelo – Rodrigo – De Bruyne, Gündogan – Mahrez, Silva, Foden
