Mateu Morey (4.5/10)

Morey had a tough time on the right side of the Borussia Dortmund defence. He nearly scored an own goal just after the hour mark. But luckily for him, his touch from close range went straight at Marwin Hitz. Even though the Spaniard worked hard for the team, he lost the majority of his duels and struggled to cope with the threat of Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Manuel Akanji (5.5/10)

Akanji began the game well and looked quite robust and solid in the opening exchanges. But some of his decision making both in and out of possession was questionable. The Swiss centre-back also looked quite tired in the second half.

Mats Hummels (6/10)

Hummels made a few vital recoveries for his side, but even he looked powerless at times against the dangerous Kevin de Bruyne and Riyad Mahrez. None of the two Manchester City goals were on him or Akanji. Hummels also came close to scoring with a header in the second half with the scores still level on the night.

Raphael Guerreiro (5.5/10)

Guerreiro had a fairly quiet evening, as he was often pegged back by the dangerous Riyad Mahrez. The Portuguese international did not make any noticeable mistakes. But he also failed to make any impact going forward.
