CONFIRMED Borussia Dortmund starting lineup vs Werder Bremen
By Tushar Bahl
Borussia Dortmund face another tricky test in the Bundesliga this weekend as they go up against Werder Bremen at home.
The Black and Yellows have won just one of their last five games, but cannot afford to drop any more points this season if they want to have any chance of finishing in the top four. Even a perfect run may not be enough to secure a Champions League spot, with Eintracht Frankfurt seven points clear in fourth place.
Borussia Dortmund will once again be without Jadon Sancho this weekend, while Thomas Delaney also misses the game with an achilles problem. Long-term absentees Youssoufa Moukoko, Dan-Axel Zagadou, Axel Witsel and Marcel Schmelzer remain out.
Here we take a look at how Borussia Dortmund are lining up against Werder Bremen.
Goalkeeper: Marwin Hitz
Marwin Hitz was beaten way too easily for Manchester City’s second goal on Wednesday. But he keeps his place in the team ahead of Roman Bürki for Sunday’s game.
