Erling Haaland scored a brace as Borussia Dortmund came from a goal down to beat Werder Bremen 4-1. It was a strong performance from the Black and Yellows, who did not let their slow start affect them.

Werder Bremen took the surprise lead through Milot Rashica early in the game, before Gio Reyna equalised with a stunning strike from the edge of the box. Marco Reus then won Borussia Dortmund a penalty, which Haaland converted to make it 2-1.

The Norwegian international doubled his tally just four minutes later, and Mats Hummels then put the gloss on the scoreline by making it 4-1 in the 87th minute.

Here are our player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from their 4-1 win over Werder Bremen.

Marwin Hitz (5/10)

Hitz’ positioning for Rashica’s opener certainly wasn’t the best. He probably should have done a better job of making the angle tighter for the Werder Bremen forward. The 33 year old looked solid after that, making a couple of important saves for his side.
