Marco Reus and Raphael Guerreiro both found the net as Borussia Dortmund earned a 2-0 win against Union Berlin, making it three wins in a row in the Bundesliga.

Needing to keep their winning run going to stay in the race for a place in the top four, Borussia Dortmund made a strong start against Union Berlin and took the lead in the 28th minute through Marco Reus. The BVB skipper turned the ball home from close range after Erling Haaland’s penalty was saved.

The Black and Yellows missed a host of big chances to add to their lead. And they had to wait until the 88th minute to seal the win. It was Raphael Guerreiro who scored to make it 2-0 at the end of a strong counter-attack.

Here are our player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from their 2-0 win over Union Berlin.

Marwin Hitz (7/10)

Hitz made an excellent save to turn Max Kruse’s free-kick onto the post in the 66th minute. He wasn’t really tested other than that, but had his crossbar to thank in the opening minute of the game. He will certainly be delighted to have kept his first clean-sheet in more than a month.
