Emre Can (4.5/10)

Can gave the ball away in the opening minute of the game, which led to Union Berlin hitting the crossbar. He did not look too comfortable in midfield, and made a number of sloppy errors. He lost possession of the ball eight times, which is way too many times for a player in his position. His night ended at the hour mark, when Mahmoud Dahoud replaced him.

Jude Bellingham (6/10)

Bellingham was a willing runner for the majority of the time he spent on the pitch. Never afraid of getting into duels, the 17 year old showed zero signs of fatigue. Marco Reus was the only Borussia Dortmund player who covered more distance on the pitch against Union Berlin than Bellingham. The England international also won a lot of his duels and did his job well.
