Jadon Sancho (7/10)

Sancho picked up right where he left off before his injury. The England international made his return from injury after seven weeks out. And he added a lot of spark to the Borussia Dortmund attack, causing all sorts of problems to the Union Berlin defenders. He could have easily ended the evening with an assist or two, and also came close to scoring late on.

Mahmoud Dahoud (6/10)

Dahoud came on to replace Emre Can. He pressed high up the pitch, completed the majority of his passes and always looked to find the forward pass.

Julian Brandt (6.5/10)

Brandt replaced Gio Reyna for the final 15 minutes. That was enough time for him to make an impact on the game. The German international played Raphael Guerreiro through on goal, and the left-back made it 2-0 in the closing stages of the game.
