Team News

Borussia Dortmund welcomed Jadon Sancho back to the squad on Wednesday. The England international delivered a promising cameo off the bench against Union Berlin, and he could be in line for a return to the starting XI this weekend.

Thomas Delaney could also make his return, having missed the last three games with an achilles injury. He made his return to training on Thursday.

Mats Hummels will miss the game through suspension, having collected his fifth yellow card of the season on Wednesday. While Roman Bürki is a doubt after missing Wednesday’s game with a cold.

Wolfsburg are set to be without Renato Steffen, who has an ankle injury. But Maxence Lacroix, Kevin Mbabu and Paulo Otavio should be back in contention for a spot in the starting XI.

Wolfsburg: Casteels – Baku, Lacroix, Brooks, Otavio – Schlager, Arnold – Brekalo, Philipp, Gerhardt – Weghorst

Borussia Dortmund: Hitz – Morey, Akanji, Can, Guerreiro – Delaney, Bellingham, Dahoud – Reus, Reyna – Haaland
