Erling Haaland scored a brace as Borussia Dortmund earned a 2-0 win over Wolfsburg to keep their chances of finishing in the top four alive.

Wolfsburg made a bright start to the game, but it was Borussia Dortmund who took the lead after Erling Haaland capitalised on a sloppy back pass to make it 1-0 in the 12th minute.

The home side continued to dominate, but the Black and Yellows defended well and made sure that Marwin Hitz’ goal was hardly ever troubled.

Borussia Dortmund went down to ten men after Jude Bellingham was sent off at the hour mark. But Haaland made it 2-0 on the counter attack just nine minutes later to seal a massive win for his side in the context of the top four race.

Here are our player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from their 2-0 win over Wolfsburg.

Marwin Hitz (6/10)

For all of Wolfsburg’s dominance, Marwin Hitz only had two fairly straight-forward saves to make. He was nervy in possession on a couple of occasions, but did not have any trouble dealing with Wolfsburg’s shots.
