Mahmoud Dahoud (7/10)

Dahoud played with great resolve and covered the most distance of all players on the pitch (12.8 km). He put in a solid defensive shift and dealt with Wolfsburg’s pressing really well. He also won the ball on the edge of the Dortmund box and threaded a beautiful through ball for Erling Haaland in the second half, allowing the striker to run to the other end and make it 2-0.

Jude Bellingham (4.5/10)

Bellingham was booked for a sloppy foul in the first half, and then received the first red card of his professional career in the second. The 17 year old worked hard for the team, but looked far from his best against Wolfsburg. He will now miss Dortmund’s next Bundesliga game against RB Leipzig in two weeks’ time.
