The latest transfer rumours claim that Borussia Dortmund still expect to sell Jadon Sancho this summer, while Arsenal could revive their interest in Julian Brandt.

Borussia Dortmund expecting Jadon Sancho summer sale

According to WAZ (subscription required), Borussia Dortmund expect to sell Jadon Sancho this summer as they look to cushion the financial losses caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The report claims that the BVB bosses expect to receive a high double-digit million sum for the England international.

Sancho was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United last summer. But a transfer never materialised as the Premier League side failed to meet Borussia Dortmund’s demands. It remains to be seen whether they will renew their interest in the 21 year old this summer.

Sancho, who has 12 goals and 16 assists to his name this season, still has more than two years left on his Borussia Dortmund contract.

Julian Brandt on Arsenal shortlist

Arsenal could revive their interest in Julian Brandt this summer. This is being reported by BILD’s Christian Falk, who claims that the Borussia Dortmund playmaker is on the Premier League side’s shortlist.

Arsenal were reportedly interested in signing Brandt during the January transfer window as well. But with Dortmund reluctant to sell, the Gunners signed Martin Ødegaard on loan instead.

But Falk believes that signing Ødegaard on a permanent transfer could prove to be too expensive for Arsenal. And so they could switch their attentions to Brandt.
