Erling Haaland delivered yet another match-winning performance on Saturday, as he scored a brace to lead Borussia Dortmund to a vital 2-0 win against VfL Wolfsburg. The win helped the Black and Yellows close the gap on their top four rivals. While the Norwegian international enjoyed yet another recording breaking afternoon.   • Youngest and fastest player to 38 Bundesliga goals: Erling Haaland’s brace against Wolfsburg helped him take his tally in the Bundesliga to 38 goals in just 41 games. Only legendary Hamburg SV striker Uwe Seeler has reached the 38 goal mark at such a quick rate. Haaland also became the first 20 year old to score 38 Bundesliga goals.
  • Ruthless away record: Erling Haaland has now scored 16 Bundesliga goals away from the Signal Iduna Park this season. No Borussia Dortmund players has ever scored more away goals in a single Bundesliga campaign. He beat the record set by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who scored 15 away goals during the 2016/17 season.
  • Another two goal haul: Erling Haaland has now scored at least two goals ten times in the Bundesliga this season. No other Borussia Dortmund player has ever managed to score multiple goals in that many games in a single season.
  • Second youngest player to be sent off in the Bundesliga: Jude Bellingham received the first red card of his professional career on Saturday. At the age of 17 years and 299 days, he became only the second youngest player to be sent off in Bundesliga history, after Maurizio Gaudino. The former VfB Stuttgart man was sent off on his Bundesliga debut in 1984, aged just 17 years and 271 days.
