Erling Haaland proved to be the difference maker last weekend against Wolfsburg. He has scored one goal in three DFB-Pokal appearances this season. And he will certainly be determined to lead Borussia Dortmund to the final with a good performance on Saturday.
Jadon Sancho has been Borussia Dortmund’s best player in this season’s DFB-Pokal, scoring in each of the four rounds so far. He scored the winner in the quarter-final against Gladbach, before going off with a muscle injury that kept him out for nearly two months. On Saturday, the England international will be eyeing his first goal involvement since his return from injury.
As mentioned earlier, Janni Serra is a player the Borussia Dortmund defenders will have to be vary of. The former BVB II forward is Holstein Kiel’s joint-top goalscorer this season, with 11 goals to his name. He has netted in three of Kiel’s four Pokal games this season. He will no doubt want to make an impact against his former club.
Veteran winger Fin Bartels is another player who could pose a threat to BVB. The former Werder Bremen man has seven goals and seven assists to his name this season, and also starred in the win over Bayern Munich.
