Previous Meeting: Holstein Kiel 0-4 Borussia Dortmund

The two sides have only met once before, and that was in the quarter-finals of the 2011/12 DFB-Pokal. Borussia Dortmund cruised to a 4-0 win over Holstein Kiel at the Holstein-Stadion to qualify for the semi-finals.

Goals from Robert Lewandowski and Shinji Kagawa helped the Black and Yellows race to a 2-0 lead inside the opening 20 minutes. Lucas Barrios and Ivan Perisic then scored in the final ten minutes to seal a dominant win for Jürgen Klopp’s side.

Borussia Dortmund went all the way and won the DFB-Pokal that year, completing a league and cup double.

And Edin Terzic will be hoping that his side can make light work of their opponents on Saturday, as they look to move a step closer in their bid to win the DFB-Pokal.
