Defenders: Lukasz Piszczek, Manuel Akanji, Mats Hummels, Raphael Guerreiro

Lukasz Piszczek had a really good game against Wolfsburg last weekend. And he starts once again against Holstein Kiel. The 35 year old is nearing the end of his professional career, but is still looking strong on the pitch.

Manuel Akanji put in an excellent defensive display against Wolfsburg in the absence of Mats Hummels. He will have his regular defensive partner back this weekend, with Emre Can making way for Hummels. The duo will have to be wary of former Borussia Dortmund youth team player Janni Serra, who is set to lead the line for Holstein Kiel.

Starting at left-back will be Raphael Guerreiro. With Borussia Dortmund expected to have the majority of the ball, the Portuguese international will have a lot of space to go forward down the left wing.
