Borussia Dortmund player ratings vs Holstein Kiel: Through to the DFB-Pokal final
By Tushar Bahl
Gio Reyna, Marco Reus, Thorgan Hazard and Jude Bellingham all found the net as Borussia Dortmund booked their place in the final of the DFB-Pokal with a dominant 5-0 win over Holstein Kiel.
It was a ruthless and dominant performance from the Black and Yellows, who raced to a five goal lead in the first half. Gio Reyna scored a brace, before Marco Reus, Thorgan Hazard and Jude Bellingham put the result beyond any doubt with their goals.
The first half blitz meant that Borussia Dortmund were able to drop a gear and see the game out in the second half. But Mateu Morey suffered a serious looking knee injury and had to be stretched off. The injury put a damper on what was otherwise a comfortable win for the Black and Yellows.
Here are our player ratings from Borussia Dortmund’s 5-0 win over Holstein Kiel.
Marwin Hitz (6.5/10)
Hitz was forced into action on a number of occasions. He made an impressive save on the stroke of half-time, but his other saves were fairly straightforward. He did have his post to thank in the first half, as Fabian Reese came close to pulling a goal back for Kiel.
