Players to Watch

With Erling Haaland likely to miss the game, the pressure will be on Jadon Sancho to deliver the goods for Borussia Dortmund this weekend. The England international assisted two of the five goals scored by his team against Holstein Kiel. And he will be looking to make a telling impact this weekend.

Mahmoud Dahoud assisted Erling Haaland’s second goal against Wolfsburg before missing the Holstein Kiel game through suspension. He will be fresh and raring to go for this weekend’s game. And he could be in for a hard-fought contest against Leipzig’s Kevin Kampl. If Dahoud can win the midfield battle on Saturday, he will give his side’s chances of getting the three points a major boost.

Dani Olmo has four goals and ten assists to his name in the Bundesliga this season. He has quietly been one of Leipzig’s top performers, and could cause a few problems to the Dortmund defence this weekend.

Wing-back Angeliño could be another threat to Der BVB with his ability to make dangerous forward runs and join the Leipzig attack. The former Manchester City man is one of the best crossers in the Bundesliga, and he is also more than capable of finding the back of the net himself.
