Defenders: Lukasz Piszczek, Manuel Akanji, Mats Hummels, Raphael Guerreiro

With Mateu Morey out injured, Lukasz Piszczek keeps his spot at right-back. The 35 year old is still going strong and has overtaken Thomas Meunier in the pecking order at right-back. He faces a tough battle against RB Leipzig’s Angeliño this weekend.

Starting as the two centre-backs will be Manuel Akanji and Mats Hummels. Both players are in fine form at the moment. And they will have to be on their game once again on Saturday if they want to keep the Leipzig attack quiet. Akanji is one yellow card away from a one-game suspension.

Raphael Guerreiro will start at left-back once again. The Portuguese international’s performance in both defence and attack will be crucial to Borussia Dortmund’s chances of getting the three points.
