Lukasz Piszczek (6/10)

Piszczek helped set up the opener with a nice forward pass through to Thorgan Hazard. He was very much in control on both ends of the pitch in the first half. But he struggled a bit after the break as Leipzig gained control of the game.

Manuel Akanji (6/10)

Akanji put in another resolute shift and managed to win the majority of his duels. He played with good concentration and did not do much wrong.

Mats Hummels (5/10)

Hummels did not have the best of starts to the game, as he nearly allowed Hwang to make it 1-0 in the opening stages of the game. He was largely solid for the rest of the first half. But he will feel that he could have done more to prevent the two Leipzig goals from happening.

Raphael Guerreiro (7.5/10)

Guerreiro helped make the difference with his two assists for Jadon Sancho. But he also kept Benjamin Henrichs quiet for the majority of the game. He did not get too many chances to join the attack. But when he did venture forward, he made those opportunities count.
