Borussia Dortmund player ratings vs RB Leipzig: Jadon Sancho comes clutch to seal vital win
By Tushar Bahl
Emre Can (6/10)
Can fought hard for the team from his defensive midfield role. He wasn’t afraid of getting stuck in, and his presence caused a few problems to the Leipzig attacking midfielders who looked to move their attacks through the middle. But Can did lose sight of Klostermann in the second half, allowing the Leipzig defender to make it 2-1 from a corner.
Mahmoud Dahoud (7.5/10)
Dahoud was one of Borussia Dortmund’s best players in the first half. He looked strong on the ball, broke play up well, played with great confidence and also helped set up a couple of half chances. He also performed his defensive duties really well, before being subbed off at the hour mark. BVB looked like a completely different team without him pulling the strings for the final 30 minutes of the game.
