Borussia Dortmund player ratings vs RB Leipzig: Jadon Sancho comes clutch to seal vital win
By Tushar Bahl
Roman Bürki (6/10)
Bürki made his first Borussia Dortmund appearance since late January, as he came on for Marwin Hitz at half time. The Swiss shot stopper made a few straight-forward saves, but did not stand a chance with any of RB Leipzig’s two goals.
Thomas Delaney (5/10)
Delaney came on for Mahmoud Dahoud at the hour mark, but wasn’t able to provide the defensive stability Edin Terzic would have expected from him. His passing also left a lot to be desired.
Julian Brandt (6.5/10)
It was a promising cameo from Brandt, who set up Marco Reus with a decent chance in the 83rd minute. Then just four minutes later, he began the move which led to Jadon Sancho’s winner. The playmaker showed his quality with a gorgeous outside of the foot pass for the England international.
Ansgar Knauff (N/R)
Knauff came on for Gio Reyna and caused Leipzig a few problems during his eight minute cameo.
