Team News

Edin Terzic said during his pre-match press conference that Lukasz Piszczek will play on Saturday after missing the Mainz game with a muscle injury. The veteran right-back will play his 382nd and final game for Borussia Dortmund this weekend.

Terzic also confirmed that all players who played against Mainz last weekend should be available to face Bayer Leverkusen.

With the Black and Yellows still fighting for third place, it is unlikely that we will see too much rotation to the starting XI.

Bayer Leverkusen will be without a number of players, including Leon Bailey, Lucas Alario, Nadiem Amiri, Exequiel Palacios, Edmond Tapsoba, Lars Bender, Santiago Arias and Timothy Fosu-Mensah. While Patrik Schick is a doubt going into the game.

Former Borussia Dortmund player Sven Bender is set to make the final appearance of his professional career.

Expected Line-ups

Borussia Dortmund: Bürki – Piszczek, Akanji, Hummels, Guerreiro – Bellingham, Dahoud – Sancho, Reus, Hazard – Haaland

Bayer Leverkusen: Hradecky – Tah, Dragovic, S. Bender, Wendell – Aranguiz, Demirbay – Bellarabi, Wirtz, Gray – Diaby
