Jadon Sancho has been in excellent form of late, and he will certainly be looking to continue that this weekend. It is possible that the game against Bayer Leverkusen could be his final in a Borussia Dortmund shirt. And if that is the case, he will definitely want to leave on a high.
Mahmoud Dahoud was rather surprisingly left out of the Germany squad for the Euros earlier this week. He will no doubt be determined to show his quality with a strong performance against Bayer Leverkusen.
Another talented midfielder to watch will be Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz. The 18 year old has eight goals and eight assists to his name this season. And he could cause a few problems to the BVB defence. Moussa Diaby was Leverkusen’s best player in the reverse fixture, and he is another player Dortmund will have to keep an eye on.
