Defenders: Lukasz Piszczek, Manuel Akanji, Emre Can, Nico Schulz

Thomas Meunier started last weekend, but Lukasz Piszczek is back in the starting XI for the Leverkusen clash. The Borussia Dortmund legend will call time on his professional career at the end of the season. And the game against Leverkusen will no doubt be an emotional farewell for him.

Manuel Akanji and Emre Can will line up as the two centre-backs. The former has been in fine form of late, and he will be looking to end the season with a clean sheet. Can replaces Hummels in defence, who is likely being rested.

Starting at left-back will be Nico Schulz. Like Hummels, Guerreiro is also being given a bit of rest and starts on the bench.
