There has been no official contact between Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United officials over the potential transfer of Jadon Sancho, despite reports in England claiming otherwise.

Jadon Sancho is once again being heavily linked with a move to Manchester United. The Athletic claimed last week that United have already begun transfer negotiations with Borussia Dortmund. They even added that the Premier League side are hopeful of reaching an agreement this summer, and would ideally like to wrap up the transfer before the Euros get underway this week.

But the very reliable Ruhr Nachrichten now report that there has been no official contact between the two clubs as of yet. According to the newspaper, this could be due to the fact that the BVB bosses have already put their general conditions for an agreement on the table just like they did last summer.

Manchester United have held a long-term interest in Sancho. They wanted to sign the 21 year old last summer as well, but failed to meet any of Borussia Dortmund’s transfer demands.

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc made it clear last month that Sancho will only be sold if all their demands are met. The Black and Yellows reportedly want a fee in the region of 100 million euros for the England international.

Sancho still has two years left on his contract and said last month that he is very happy at Borussia Dortmund. He is coming off another impressive campaign that saw him score 16 goals and provide 20 assists in 38 appearances across all competitions.
