Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Erling Haaland this summer, but Borussia Dortmund remain firm on their stance that the striker is not for sale.

According to the Telegraph, Chelsea are still interested in making a move for Erling Haaland this summer despite Borussia Dortmund’s stance. The report adds that they are not only exploring the possibility of signing him this summer, but also of reaching an agreement for next year if the BVB bosses decide not to sell him this summer. However, it remains to be seen whether that would be possible.

Telegraph also claim that Haaland is thought to be attracted by the prospect of a move to Chelsea. And so the Champions League winners are working to find out whether a transfer could be viable.

In addition to Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City and Manchester United are also said to be interested in signing Haaland.

Both Michael Zorc and Hans-Joachim Watzke have stated on numerous occasions that the 20 year old will not be leaving this summer. But despite their stance, rumours about the striker’s future continue to dominate the headlines.

Haaland still has three years left on his contract, so Borussia Dortmund are under no pressure to sell him this summer. And the Black and Yellows’ position is further strengthened by the fact that they have qualified for next season’s UEFA Champions League.
