Matchday 2 of the Euro 2020 group stage is upon us, with Belgium and Denmark locking horns at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen on Thursday. 

Fresh off their impressive 3-0 win over Russia, Belgium will be aiming to keep their winning run going as they take on Denmark. If the Red Devils manage to beat Denmark on Thursday, they will all but secure their place in the round of 16.

Denmark suffered a 1-0 defeat to Finland in their group stage opener last week. But Russia’s win over Finland on Wednesday means that they are still very much in the race to qualify for the round of 16. And they have enough quality in their ranks to cause Belgium a few problems on Thursday.

Four Borussia Dortmund players could be involved in Belgium’s clash against Denmark. Thomas Meunier and Thorgan Hazard are set to start as the two wing-backs for Belgium, while Axel Witsel could make his return to the squad after recovering from his torn achilles tendon. Thomas Delaney should start in the Denmark midfield.
