Carlo Ancelotti is a big fan of Borussia Dortmund left-back Raphael Guerreiro and reportedly wants to bring him to Real Madrid.

Raphael Guerreiro has been one of Borussia Dortmund’s most consistent performers in recent years, and has developed into one of the best left-backs in the world. According to BILD, his performances have attracted the attention of Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti.

The tabloid claims that Ancelotti wants to bring Guerreiro to Real Madrid. The BVB bosses consider the 27 year old, who still has two years left on his Borussia Dortmund contract, to be a vital part of the team. BILD mention that there is no chance of them even considering his sale for a fee less than 60 million euros.

Guerreiro is coming off another impressive season with Borussia Dortmund. The Portuguese international scored five goals and provided eleven assists in just 27 Bundesliga appearances this season from left-back.

It still remains to be seen how real Ancelotti’s interest is in signing Guerreiro, and whether the Spanish giants can even afford him. Another thing worth adding is that Guerreiro is very happy at Borussia Dortmund. The left-back said in February that he would like to stay with the Black and Yellows for many years to come.

Guerreiro was previously linked with a move away from Borussia Dortmund in 2019, when Paris St. Germain and FC Barcelona were interested in signing him. But he eventually decided to extend his contract with BVB. And his performances since then have been nothing short of world class.
