Finland vs Belgium: Predicted lineups for Euro 2020 group stage clash
By Tushar Bahl
Belgium go up against Finland in their final group stage game of Euro 2020 on Monday, as they aim to continue their perfect start to the tournament.
Having won each of their opening two games of Euro 2020, Belgium go into their Group B finale against Finland with qualification for the round of 16 already in the bag. The Red Devils only need a point to finish top of the group, and will want to continue their impressive run of form.
The game is of high importance to Finland, who have the opportunity to upset the odds and qualify for the round of 16. Finland have three points to their name so far and even a draw could be enough to take them through to the knockout phase of the tournament.
Finland vs Belgium: Predicted starting lineups for Euro 2020 clash
Belgium will have to make do without Thorgan Hazard, who is struggling with a minor knee injury. The Borussia Dortmund winger has not made the trip to Saint Petersburg, and will likely be replaced in the starting XI by his brother Eden Hazard.
Axel Witsel is set to make his return to the Belgium starting XI after coming off the bench against Denmark. The Borussia Dortmund midfielder has made a remarkable recovery from the torn achilles tendon he suffered just five months ago. Kevin de Bruyne is also expected to start for Belgium.
Finland do not have any injury concerns to deal with going into the game and should have the majority of their players available. Here is how the two teams could line up for their Euro 2020 group stage clash.
Belgium: Courtois – Alderweireld, Boyata, Denayer – Meunier, Tielemans, Witsel, Chadli – de Bruyne, Hazard – Lukaku
Finland: Hradecky – Toivio, Arajuuri, O’Shaughnessy – Raitala, Lod, Sparv, Kamara, Uronen – Pohjanpalo, Pukki
