Germany will be aiming to seal their place in the Euro 2020 round of 16 as they go up against Hungary on the final matchday of the group stage on Wednesday.

Germany currently find themselves in second place in Group F, with three points to their name. Joachim Löw’s only need a point from their game against Hungary to qualify for the last 16.

Germany will also have one eye on the tournament bracket, as well as France’s game against Portugal. If Die Mannschaft maintain second place in Group F, they will face England in the round of 16. While finishing top would set up a relatively easier path to the semi-finals.

But first Germany will have to overcome the challenge of Hungary, who go into the game full of confidence following their 1-1 draw against France. Hungary need a win to qualify for the round of 16.

Two Borussia Dortmund players could start for Germany. Mats Hummels is set to be fit despite struggling with a knee injury in recent days. While Emre Can could also be considered if Joachim Löw decides to rest some of his main starters.
