Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United are close to reaching an agreement over the transfer of Jadon Sancho, and Noni Madueke is high on the list of his potential replacements.
The Jadon Sancho transfer saga is about to hit the home straight, with Manchester United set to finally seal his signature. According to Ruhr Nachrichten, Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United are close to reaching an agreement.
Borussia Dortmund had called for a fee of around 90 million euros plus bonuses for Sancho, and they are now expected to receive it. RN add that Manchester United have increased their offer, and the 90 million mark is now very much in sight.
With Sancho set to leave this summer, Borussia Dortmund are searching for his successor. And Ruhr Nachrichten report that PSV Eindhoven winger Noni Madueke is high on their list of targets. The 19 year old is coming off an impressive breakthrough campaign that saw him score nine goals and provide eight assists in 32 appearances across all competitions for PSV. His performances also helped him earn his first England U-21s cap in March.
Madueke, who is capable of playing on either wing and also through the middle, has three years left on his contract with PSV Eindhoven. Ruhr Nachrichten add that he could be available for a fee of around 20 million euros this summer. The former Tottenham Hotspur youngster said last month that it is an honour to be linked with a team like Borussia Dortmund.
Madueke’s PSV teammate Donyell Malen is another player who has been linked with Borussia Dortmund in recent weeks.
