August 21: Away to SC Freiburg (Bundesliga)

Borussia Dortmund will then turn their attentions to what should be a tough away game against SC Freiburg on Matchday two of the Bundesliga.

SC Freiburg are one of the most well-drilled sides in the Bundesliga. They can be very difficult to beat, as Borussia Dortmund found out when the two sides met in February. Freiburg finished last season in tenth place. And they will be looking to improve on that and battle for the European spots this time around.

August 27: Home to TSG Hoffenheim (Bundesliga)

Borussia Dortmund will end the month of August with a home game against TSG Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga. Hoffenheim could only manage an 11th place finish last season. And they will certainly be aiming to do a lot better in the upcoming campaign.

Despite their recent troubles, Hoffenheim have proven to be a tricky opponent for Borussia Dortmund over the years. And this game will by no means be an easy one for the Black and Yellows. But Marco Rose will see this as a must-win game, especially with the international break set to follow it.
