Team News

Borussia Dortmund have a number of injury concerns heading into Saturday’s DFB-Pokal tie. Marco Rose has only one fit senior centre-back available to him, while a number of players have only just arrived from their post Euro 2020 breaks. Julian Brandt and Thomas Meunier testing positive for COVID-19 has further complicated things for the Black and Yellows.

Rose hinted during his pre-match press conference that some players from the U-19 and U-23 teams could be in contention to feature on Saturday. And it will be interesting to see what line-up he decides to go with.

SV Wehen Wiesbaden have a few injury concerns of their own. Gianluca Korte, Sebastian Mrowca and Ben Bischof are set to miss the game due to injuries.

Expected Line-ups

SV Wehen Wiesbaden: Stritzel – Mockenhaupt, Carstens, Gürleyen – Fechner, Taffertshofer, Kurt, Rieble – Goppel, Thiel – Nilsson

Borussia Dortmund: Kobel – Passlack, Akanji, Papadopoulos, Schulz – Witsel, Dahoud – Reyna, Reus – Tigges, Haaland
