CONFIRMED Borussia Dortmund lineup for DFB-Pokal tie against SV Wehen Wiesbaden

Borussia Dortmund begin their 2021/22 campaign on Saturday as they go up against third division side SV Wehen Wiesbaden in the first round of the DFB-Pokal.
Pre-season is over and Borussia Dortmund make their return to competitive action this weekend. The Black and Yellows begin their defence of the DFB-Pokal on Saturday, and they will be aiming to register a comfortable win over third division side SV Wehen Wiesbaden. The tie will mark Marco Rose’s first game in charge of BVB.
Rose has plenty of personnel issues to deal with ahead of his Borussia Dortmund debut. Mats Hummels, Dan-Axel Zagadou, Soumaila Coulibaly, Nnamdi Collins, Emre Can, Raphael Guerreiro, Mateu Morey and Marius Wolf will all miss this weekend’s game due to injuries. While Thomas Meunier and Julian Brandt are quarantined after testing positive for COVID-19. And a number of players have only just returned from their post Euro 2020 breaks.
Summer signings Donyell Malen and Gregor Kobel are set to make their Borussia Dortmund debuts on Saturday.

Gregor Kobel will start in goal for Borussia Dortmund on Saturday. The 23 year old showed a good account of himself during pre-season. And he will be aiming to mark his competitive debut for the club with a clean sheet.
