Felix Passlack (6/10)

Passlack inadvertently scored an own goal, but did a fairly decent job other than that. He kept Filip Kostic quiet and put in a solid defensive shift. He did not offer much of a threat going forward, and had a few difficult moments against Jesper Lindstrøm in the second half.

Manuel Akanji (7/10)

Akanji led the defence really well once again. He made some important recoveries for his side, including a vital last-ditch block in the 66th minute that prevented Eintracht Frankfurt from making it 4-2. The Swiss international also looked confident on the ball and played some good forward passes.

Axel Witsel (6/10)

With Emre Can not fit to feature, Axel Witsel slotted in at centre-back. He had a few difficult moments in the first half, including one against Daichi Kamada in the 14th minute. But he played with resolve and made some vital clearances for his side in the second half. Overall, it was a largely solid performance from the Belgian international.

Nico Schulz (6/10)

Schulz put in another strong shift at left-back. He kept things tight on the defensive end, and also made some dangerous forward runs. His decision making in the final third wasn’t always the best, but you can see that his attacking play is improving. He also forced a save from Kevin Trapp in the first half.
