Borussia Dortmund player ratings vs Eintracht Frankfurt: Erling Haaland on fire in 5-2 win
By Tushar Bahl
Mahmoud Dahoud (7/10)
Dahoud worked hard and broke up a number of Eintracht Frankfurt attacks playing in his number six role. He also played some excellent forward passes and covered more distance than any other player on the pitch (12.4 km), but it was his defending that caught the eye.
Jude Bellingham (7/10)
Like Dahoud, Bellingham was full of energy and hard work. He wasn’t afraid of getting into duels and was feeding off the energy of the crowd. He had a game-high four interceptions, and also made three vital tackles for his team. And he also made a really good forward run past multiple defenders in the second half which nearly resulted in a goal.
Gio Reyna (7/10)
Reyna did not have the best of starts to the game. He clumsily gave the ball away before Eintracht Frankfurt’s equaliser. But he recovered from that and put in a lot of hard work for his side over the course of the 87 minutes he spent on the pitch. He was rewarded with a goal in the 58th minute that all but sealed the win for his side.
