Marco Reus (9/10)

Haaland may be grabbing all the headlines, but Reus also played a crucial role in the win. The Borussia Dortmund captain began the scoring in the first half, and then set up both of Haaland’s goals. He made some very intelligent runs and looked dangerous on every Dortmund attack. He was unlucky that his second goal was ruled out due to the ball traveling out of bounds, because it was a gorgeous finish from him.

Erling Haaland (10/10)

Haaland put in another dominant display, as he was involved in all five of Borussia Dortmund’s goals. The 21 year old scored two and set up three goals for his side in the 5-2 win. It was a complete performance by the striker, who just continues to get better and better. Haaland now has 62 goals in just 61 appearances for the Black and Yellows, which is an incredible feat.

Thorgan Hazard (7/10)

Hazard did really well to win the ball back before the opening goal. He wasn’t as effective going forward as Reus and Haaland, but he did the job asked of him really well. He also made it 2-1 for Borussia Dortmund with a well taken finish. Hazard started to tire in the second half, and got a well earned breather in the 73rd minute.
