Team News

Borussia Dortmund will once again have to make do without Emre Can, Raphael Guerreiro, Mats Hummels, Julian Brandt and Thomas Meunier, as well as the long term absentees. So Axel Witsel could once again line up at centre-back alongside Manuel Akanji.

Thorgan Hazard will also miss the game with an ankle injury, putting Donyell Malen in contention for his full debut. The Netherlands international has come off the bench in both of Borussia Dortmund’s games so far.

Like Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich also have a number of injury issues to deal with in defence. Benjamin Pavard, Lucas Hernandez and Marc Roca are all injured, while Corentin Tolisso is a doubt going into the game.

Expected Line-ups

Borussia Dortmund: Kobel – Passlack, Witsel, Akanji, Schulz – Dahoud, Bellingham, Reyna – Reus – Malen, Haaland

Bayern Munich: Neuer – Stanisic, Upamecano, Süle, Davies – Kimmich, Goretzka – Sane, Müller, Gnabry – Lewandowski
