CONFIRMED Borussia Dortmund lineup for Bundesliga clash vs Bayer Leverkusen
By Tushar Bahl
Forwards: Julian Brandt, Marco Reus, Erling Haaland
Marco Reus appears to be fit despite suffering a knee injury on international duty. The Borussia Dortmund captain will start in the number ten role as he looks to build on his impressive start to the season.
Erling Haaland scored five goals in three games for Norway during the international break. And that will only make him hungry for more. The 21 year old scored a dramatic late winner against Hoffenheim just before the international break. And he will want to pick up right where he left off two weeks ago.
There is a change in formation, with Julian Brandt coming into the team in place of Donyell Malen. The playmaker makes his first start of the season.
Brandt was forced to miss the first three games of the season after testing positive for COVID-19. But he will now be looking to make the most of his chance and stake a claim for a regular starting spot in the coming weeks.
Youssoufa Moukoko and Donyell Malen both start on the bench for Borussia Dortmund. Ansgar Knauff, Reinier and Marius Wolf are the other attacking options available to Marco Rose on the bench.
