CONFIRMED Borussia Dortmund lineup for Champions League clash against Besiktas
By Tushar Bahl
Forwards: Marco Reus, Erling Haaland, Donyell Malen
Marco Reus became Borussia Dortmund’s leading goalscorer in the UEFA Champions League last season. And now he looks set to replace Lukasz Piszczek as the club’s leading appearance maker in the competition. Reus will be just three games behind the legendary right-back after the game against Besiktas.
Erling Haaland will lead the Borussia Dortmund attack as he looks to keep his stunning run of form going. The Norwegian international loves playing in the Champions League and has 20 goals to his name in just 16 appearances in the competition.
Donyell Malen starts alongside Haaland in the front two, with Rose going with the 4-4-2 diamond formation. The Dutchman came off the bench at the weekend, and he will be aiming to score his first Borussia Dortmund goal on Wednesday.
Youssoufa Moukoko, Reinier, Ansgar Knauf and Marius Wolf all start on the bench for Borussia Dortmund against Besiktas.
