Borussia Dortmund begin their UEFA Champions League group stage campaign on Wednesday with a tricky away game against Besiktas JK.

The UEFA Champions League gets underway this week and Borussia Dortmund travel to Istanbul to take on Turkish Süper Lig champions Besiktas JK in their opening game of the group stage. The Black and Yellows will be aiming to start off their group stage campaign with a win. But Besiktas have a strong squad and their talented strike force could pose a big threat to the Dortmund defence.

Borussia Dortmund will once again have to make do without the injured Gio Reyna, Emre Can, Thorgan Hazard and Nico Schulz on Wednesday. Third choice goalkeeper Roman Bürki has also not made the trip to Istanbul.

Here we take a look at Borussia Dortmund’s CONFIRMED line up for their Champions League clash against Besiktas.

Goalkeeper: Gregor Kobel

Gregor Kobel showed his quality once again on Saturday despite conceding three goals. The Swiss goalkeeper is now set to make his UEFA Champions League debut, and he will be aiming to start off in the competition with a clean sheet.
